Roger Carpenter, a producer working at Microsoft on the Xbox One version of Minecraft, says that full details about the release are set to be offered soon by the team at 4J Studios that’s working closely with Mojang on the port of the indie experience.

He tells the Official Xbox Magazine that, “There are lots of cool things being worked on, we’ve been paying attention to what the community has been asking for.”

The producer suggests that all three companies are at the moment exploring how the unique features of the Xbox One can be used to make Minecraft a better title.

It seems that at the moment one of the biggest tasks is to find a way to move saves from the current-gen version of the game to the next-gen one.

The game, which has sold very well on the PC already, is also set to be launched on the PlayStation 4 and the PS3 from Sony at some point in 2014.

At the moment, Mojang is working on a number of other projects, including Scrolls, but none of them seems to have the long-term potential of Minecraft.
