The development teams at Mojang and 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft are preparing fans of both Halo and Minecraft for the launch of the official Halo Mash-Up Pack on the Xbox 360 with a new trailer that shows Master Chief and his indie game look.

The new content will be launched on the Xbox Live service later today and will be offered for 3.99 dollars or 3.79 Euro.

The new pack will allow gamers to get access to a complex texture set built around the most iconic elements of the Halo series, a theme for both menus and the user interface, craftable items and 31 all new music tracks designed to evoke the atmosphere of the game world.

Players who love to create their own Minecraft content will also be able to use 40 skins that depict well-known characters, including Master Chief, Cortana, Sergeant Johnson, the Arbiter and more.

The selection of pre-made worlds for the indie hit includes Silent Cartographer, Sandtrap, Valhalla, Blackout, Guardian, Blood Gulch and others.

Minecraft is also available on the PlayStation 3 and has managed to deliver big sales on all the platforms on which it was launched.

Versions of the game for the Xbox One and the PS4 are set to be delivered in August of this year.
