The development team at Mojang says that it has plans to add a new feature to the Realms subscription service for the indie title, allowing gamers to play a number of mini-games.

The current list of titles includes: FVDisco’s Cake Defense 2, SethBling’s Blocks vs. Zombies and Autospleef, Hypixel’s The Walls and Dragnoz’s Dash of Doom.

More experiences will be offered at a later date, probably using ideas drawn from the Minecraft community.

Mini-games are designed to offer self-contained experiences with interesting and innovative mechanics and the state of the player’s Realm will be reset after one is played.

The new feature is planned to be part of the 1.7.5 update that will be offered for Minecraft in March, designed to also bring more content for the indie title.

The Realms subscription feature is currently only offered to gamers in Sweden and to those who attended the official MineCon event.
