Mighty No. 9's character design poll has just ended, deciding the visual direction of the game's second playable character, Call.

Mighty No. 9 is currently being developed by Comcept and is intended as a spiritual successor to the Mega Man series, the project being led by the legendary franchise's creator Keiji Inafune.

The devs plan to bring the classic side-scrolling action up to date with modern graphics and gameplay mechanics, all the while preserving Mega Man's spirit.

Mighty No. 9 has been successfully funded on Kickstarter in October, managing to raise over four times the original goal. It may be a while in the making though, as Comcept is currently working on Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z and the newly resurfaced KAIO: King of Pirates action adventure title for the Nintendo 3DS.

Following the amazing success, the developers opened a poll for backers and non-backers in order to decide the design direction for the game's second playable character Call, with 9 available options to choose from.

The polls have now ended, the votes have been counted and a winner has emerged, as stated in the latest Kickstarter update.

The 9 proposed designs can be found below, with the winner being version F.
