The Ubisoft team working on Might & Magic X: Legacy is delivering a new trailer for the game, which reveals actual gameplay footage taken from an early build of the title.

Rock, Paper, Shotgun is the first to get access to the new video and it seems that the developers are aiming for a set of game mechanics that mix the classic core features of Might & Magic with more modern ideas.

It has been more than 10 years since a title in the series was launched and many long time fans are hopeful that the new experience will improve on the overall quality level of the franchise.

The first act of Might & Magic X: Legacy will be launched on Monday to those who are taking part in the open development program that Ubisoft has launched.

Other players will be able to get access to the game at some point in September on the PC.

UPDATE: Ubisoft has just confirmed Might & Magic X: Legacy will be released in early 2014. More info on the contents of the pre-purchase package are available here.
