14 DAY TRIAL // Video game publisher Ubisoft has announced that it is working on a new Might & Magic themed title, called Duel of Champions, which will be set in the card game genre and will use a free-to-play business model.
The title is currently in closed beta in France and the team working on it will soon expand the testing to other countries, with an open beta planned for launch during 2012.
Might & Magic: Duel of Champions is being created by the Quebec studio of Ubisoft and will be offered both on the PC and the iPad, with included cross platform play.
The initial launch of Duel of Champions will include hundreds of cards with a Might & Magic theme and more packs will be offered via an online store, for those looking for more options to customize and to enhance their characters.
The battles in the game will take place in Ashan, a new land filled with a number of unique creatures, magic powers and religious beliefs.
