One of the criticisms leveled by many gamers at the largely solid Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor soon after launch was that some aspects of the game were not properly explained by the development team at Monolith.

To rectify that, publisher Warner Bros. is launching a new video for the title, which is called Forge Your Nemesis and explains how one of the core elements of the game works, allowing players to see how a single Uruk enemy can evolve over the course of the game to become the main opponent of leading character Talion.

The company is also launching the first major event for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, the Test of Power, which is taking place all over the weekend and allowing gamers to take out an exclusive Legion of Sauron until October 5 at 9 PM Pacific Time in order to climb the leaderboard.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor was launched this week on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, and allows gamers to explore an open world and battle a variety of enemies as they aim to get revenge for the deaths of those they held dear.

The title has been receiving solid reviews and many of them are focused on the interesting Nemesis system and the solid core combat mechanics.
