Phil Spencer, the general manager of the Microsoft Studios, says that his company will use the various data tracking elements of the new Xbox One home console to evaluate what gamers like in a title and create better future releases.

He tells Kotaku that, “we are crafting the game and the analytics so we can see what the consumers, the gamers, like and don't - if you assume buying habits are a reflection of what people like –so that we can craft the experience better for the gamer.”

Spencer says that Microsoft has no plans to offer a pay-to-win mechanics in any of the games launched on the new console and it is carefully scrutinizing all the games that include microtransactions.

The executive also says that customization and varied gameplay is what Xbox One users are currently looking for on the new device.
