The team working on the Xbox One home console at Microsoft suggests that it might try to re-introduce the family sharing feature and the ability to trade downloaded games at a later date during its life cycle.

Albert Penello, a senior director at the company, tells Gamespot that, "I believe, in retrospect that people have calmed down and gone back and actually looked at what we said, people are starting to understand, ‘Wow, they did want actually to allow me to loan and trade’ which other digital ecosystems don’t want to do."

At the moment, Microsoft is focused on creating a solid launch experience for the Xbox One, which will be available in tier one territories on November 22.

Other markets will have to wait until 2014.

The initial Microsoft vision of the console included a digital ecosystem that many players resented because it led to an inability to trade used games or lend consoles.
