Microsoft has confirmed that it's going to hold its traditional E3 2014 press conference on June 9, starting at 9:30am PDT, and that it will be broadcasted through a variety of means.

The Xbox One was released last November and, so far, the console isn't looking so well when compared to Sony's PS4. Lots of bad publicity for Microsoft's console happened at E3 2014, and the company's new Xbox boss, Phil Spencer, has pledged several times that this year, things will be much different.

Now, Xbox Live Community Manager Larry Hryb has confirmed on his blog that Microsoft's E3 2014 press conference is called Xbox: Game On, emphasizing the focus on games and entertainment.

The event will take place on Monday, June 9, at 9:30am PDT, and it will deliver "in-depth looks at previously announced games" as well as trailers for unannounced titles coming in 2014 and beyond.

The press conference will be broadcasted live via the Xbox.com website, the Xbox Live online service, and on Windows Phone devices. For U.S. and Canada viewers, Spike TV will also broadcast it in the two regions.

Different fan-centric events will take place before and after the Xbox One event, for fans in LA and all around the world, so expect to hear more soon enough.
