Phil Spencer, the corporate vice president of Microsoft, says that his company has no plans to copy the Naughty Dog model for its own internal studios, although it appreciates the work that the development team linked to Nintendo has done lately.

VideoGamer quotes his Twitter feed as stating, “ND is a special studio with an amazing track record. I believe they are unique in our industry.”

He adds, “Great studios have unique culture. Creating a studio to be 'like' another isn't a goal for us.”

Microsoft is currently relying on its own internal development studios to make sure that the Xbox One receives a steady supply of titles in the coming months.

The list of companies working with the new home console includes: Rare, 343 Industries, Lionhead and Turn 10.

Naughty Dog is thought to be currently working on a new Uncharted game for the PlayStation 4.
