The team at Microsoft working on the Xbox One says that it has no plans to increase the amount of RAM in the device to 12 GB before it is available in store.

In a Twitter message, Albert Penello, a product planning manager, writes that, “Glad you all like headset. We’re not going to 12gb, just to be clear. Feeling great about game performance – stuff is looking killer.”

The fact that a headset was to be included in the Xbox One package was announced yesterday via an official unboxing video from Major Nelson.

The team also announced that it was increasing the processor speed of its GPU.

Microsoft says that the Xbox One has enough power at the moment to support game development for the coming years.

The device is set to arrive in stores in November.
