It seems that fans of Minecraft will be able to experience more content on the Xbox 360, including mash-ups that feature some of the biggest games launched on the device, as they wait for the title to arrive on the next-gen Microsoft platform.

Roger Carpenter, a producer, tells the OXM that, “We’ve been discussing quite a few ideas for future mash-ups. The aim is that they’re special creations – we’re not going to do loads of them. The hope is that they provide players with something visually unique for them to enjoy their slice of Minecraft with.”

Carpenter has not offered any hints on the titles that Microsoft is interested in mixing with the unique mechanics of Minecraft, which encourage players to create new content and share it with the community.

At the moment, fans can use textures and models based on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to enhance their game world.
