Microsoft says that some of the features that were eliminated from the Xbox One home console might be re-integrated in the coming months and that the communications process for the home console was flawed.

Marc Whitten, a corporate vice president at the company, tells IGN that, "We’ve got to just talk more, get people understanding what our system is – the thing that’s really gratifying is that people are excited about the types of features that are possible."

After the Xbox One was first shown to the public, the team at Microsoft dropped DRM measures that were linked to the device.

Fans cheered the policy change, but this also means that some features of the hardware will no longer be available to buyers, including shared libraries.

The Xbox One will be launched in November.
