Microsoft is apparently not done with its aggressive marketing effort in the Land of the Rising Sun, as the company is reportedly preparing some surprises for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.

Microsoft Japan has just held its annual management policy press conference in Tokyo, at the company's headquarters, and Japanese magazine Game Watch has shared some of the information revealed by Takashi Izumi, the local head of Microsoft's Xbox division.

Izumi has said that the pre-orders for the Xbox One computer entertainment system are within the company's expectations, and that the Day One Edition (the Xbox One with Kinect version of the device bundled together with Kinect Sports Rivals and Titanfall) is currently still going strong, and seemingly even more popular than the version without the Kinect sensor.

He has also advised potential customers to pre-order the Xbox One early on and take advantage of the appealing bundle, as many shops are about to close the orders for the Day One Edition pretty soon.

He has further added that Microsoft is planning to allow potential customers and interested gamers to experience the console all over Japan, with some 200 demo stations to be set up in electronic stores nationwide before the September 4 launch of the console.

In addition to further demonstrative events, Microsoft is also preparing for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, that will take place from September 18 through September 21, where the company will focus on the new titles announced at E3, and on some surprises that Xbox is preparing for the event.
