14 DAY TRIAL // Phil Harrison, one of the vice presidents at Microsoft, says that his company has a wealth of new content in the pipeline for the Xbox One, which is designed to deliver game features that are more impressive than those of the launch titles.
He tells the Official Xbox Magazine that, “for every feature you’ve seen in the launch titles – SmartGlass, GameDVR, use of voice with Kinect – there are five features in the queue waiting to come out, either in an update or a sequel or in a future version of a game.”
The executive sees this as a sign that there’s more innovation associated with the Xbox One than with any other console on the market.
Spencer has not said which games he is referring to and when they might be launched.
The biggest upcoming title for the Xbox One is Titanfall, from the team at Respawn Entertainment, which is set to be launched in 2014.
