Sony managed to explain to gamers what its console is all about

Xbox One manufacturer Microsoft has revealed that it's quite happy with Sony's strategy concerning the PS4 next-gen console and how it defined the device in an easy way for consumers to understand.

Both the PS4 and the Xbox One made their debut last year, and Sony and Microsoft did congratulate each other several times on the successful launches.

Now, Microsoft's Phil Spencer has talked a bit about Sony's success with the PS4, admitting that the Japanese company did a "nice job" with marketing the new console.

"When I think about [Sony's] announcement, their clear focus on a customer, leading with the value proposition of what they’re trying to do, staying true to a vision, I think they've done a nice job in how they defined the PS4," he told OXM.

Even so, Microsoft is still determined to make the Xbox One a great success.
