The remastered versions of Metro 2033 and Last Light are coming this summer

Metro Redux publisher Deep Silver has confirmed that the upcoming collection of Metro games and DLC will run at a full HD resolution of 1080p and a 60fps framerate on the PS4, while on the Xbox One it will run at 900p and 60fps.

Metro games have delighted fans from around the world especially on the PC, as Ukrainian developer 4A Games managed to deliver high-quality atmospheric first-person shooters.

Now, the studio has partnered once again with Deep Silver to bring forth Metro Redux, a special collection that includes remastered editions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, not to mention all the DLC for the latest title.

The special package is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One and now the first details about its performance on the new consoles have appeared online.

First up, on the PS4 Deep Silver confirmed via PS blog that Metro Redux runs at a full HD 1080p resolution and a 60fps framerate.

The publisher then revealed, in a statement to GamePur, that the collection runs at a slightly lower resolution on Xbox One, in the form of 900p, while retaining the 60fps framerate.

The collection is set to appear this summer for all the aforementioned platforms, so expect to hear more about it soon enough.
