Deep Silver, the owner of the Metro franchise, has confirmed that the Metro Redux collection that was leaked yesterday is in fact real and that a full reveal is coming at E3 2014 in June.

Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light impressed quite a lot of first-person shooter fans on the PC but also on the PS3 and Xbox 360, on which Last Light appeared last year.

Yesterday, through some leaked documents, a supposed Metro Redux collection was revealed, containing a new and improved version of Metro 2033 as well as Metro: Last Light and all of its DLC packs for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Now, publisher Deep Silver has posted an official statement on the franchise's website, confirming that the Metro Redux collection is real.

However, the company emphasized that the leaked material was from an old presentation and that most of the details, not to mention the cover images, weren't final.

A proper, full-fledged reveal will be made at E3 2014, according to the publisher, so until then it's just going to confirm the upcoming appearance of the Metro franchise for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms later in the year, so expect to hear more in June.
