The development team at Kojima Productions and publisher Konami Digital Entertainment are delivering a new launch trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, which is specifically designed to show off more of the gameplay that gamers can experience in the new title.

The footage shows off the new open world environment that Snake will operate in, the complex weather effects that can affect the player and the better than ever Artificial Intelligence that will power enemy reactions.

All three are core features of the new Fox Engine, which the studio will also work with as they are creating The Phantom Pain.

Kojima Productions adds, "Ground Zeroes’ open world and many possibilities encourages the player to revisit its content again and again to discover its secrets and features an online global ranking system where players can compare their achievements against others."

The action of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes takes place in 1975 and is designed to introduce one major event that will influence the entire future of the series, focusing on Big Boss and his infiltration of a secret Cuban military base.

The title will be launched on the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft and current-gen consoles.
