A brand new video showing the actual multiplayer mode from the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain game has appeared, highlighting many details about the new action stealth experience.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is the long-awaited full-fledged sequel in the popular stealth series made by Konami and Kojima Productions, and ever since the release of the Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes prologue, many fans have been eagerly anticipating its debut.

After confirming earlier this summer that the new game will also have a multiplayer mode with quite a lot of complex features, an official video with said online mode in action has just been revealed.

In case you forgot, the multiplayer experience in The Phantom Pain allows each player to create their own Mother Base and customize it in different ways, either with in-game currency or with real-world cash via microtransactions.

The actual multiplayer component allows other players to infiltrate your Mother Base, so a complex design filled with safety precautions is quite important.

You can check out the multiplayer mode towards the end of the gameplay video below, via IGN.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is set to launch in the near future, but no exact date is known just yet.
