Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, the full-fledged installment in Konami's stealth series, might debut as early as the beginning of 2015, at least according to a Konami website.

Metal Gear Solid 5 is a massive endeavor for Konami and Kojima Productions, so the two companies decided to offer a special prologue called Ground Zeroes this spring, ahead of the full-fledged The Phantom Pain, which will launch in the future.

While Ground Zeroes is set to debut right this week, The Phantom Pain still has no concrete release period.

Now, however, it seems that a Konami website in which Ground Zeroes owners can register their copies for free DLC in The Phantom Pain is hinting at an "early 2015" launch for the big title.

More specifically, as you can see above via Reddit, those who register their own copy of Ground Zeroes are met with a message saying that they should check back in early 2015 for their downloadable content.

This might mean that Konami and Kojima are targeting this period for the release of The Phantom Pain, but as of right now, the two companies haven't confirmed anything about the launch of their next big title.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes launches tomorrow, March 18, in North America, and on March 21, in Europe, for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
