14 DAY TRIAL // Tribute Games have announced that Mercenary Kings won't be available this year. They hope to be able to deliver the game during early 2014, though, and promise to deliver a solid multiplayer experience.
Mercenary Kings is a 2D action game, a modern take on arcade side-scrolling shooter classics, combining frantic action with revised graphics and gameplay mechanics.
The announcement came via the developer's blog, detailing that although the game is content-completed, with every level done and every boss worked out, they are still in the process of polishing it, especially regarding its sound effects and localization.
Tribute Games pledge their commitment to make the game run even smoother than it already is and to deliver a strong multiplayer experience, with both online and local co-op.
Mercenary Kings will be available on the PlayStation 4 and remote play-compatible on Vita will be accessible right out of the box.
For now, Mercenary Kings is only available through Steam Early Access.
