Piranha Games has announced that it has launched the Founder’s Program for its upcoming MMO MechWarrior Online, allowing fans to pay a sum of money early in order to get in-game benefits and access to the game on August 7.

The Legendary tier of the service will cost 120 dollars and will include: 4 exclusive Founder’s BattleMechs, a three-month premium game account, 80 dollars’ worth of in-game currency, a Founder’s Tag and game credits.

The Elite package has just one custom BattleMech, the in-game currency, a two-month premium account and a Founder’s tag.

The lowest tier for the Founder’s Program comes with 40 dollars of currency, one month of premium play time and a Founder’s Tag.

The Founder initiative is currently only offered for players in North America and Piranha Games says that it has no plans to support it in other territories.

MechWarrior Online will allow players to control a powerful robot on a future battlefield where Great Houses, mercenaries and the Clans clash as they try to control territory and develop better fighting hardware.
