Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood, the sequel to 2010's Max and the Magic Marker, has received a release date of December 20 for the Xbox One next-gen console.

Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood follows up on the events from Max and the Magic Marker as the small protagonist is transported into a new magical world where his marker has power over the elements, from earth, to water, and more.

The new title promises to emphasize platforming and puzzle solving and looked rather good when I got a chance to play it at Gamescom 2013 this summer on the Xbox One.

Now, the game has received a release date for Microsoft's new console, as it will debut tomorrow, December 20, via the Xbox Live online service.

The game will cost $14.99 or €14.99, according to Microsoft's Larry Hryb, via Twitter.
