Rockstar has made a slight change to the release date of Max Payne 3 on the PC platform, confirming that it will now be released on June 1 worldwide, effectively delaying it by a few days in North America.

Max Payne 3 was awaited by millions of fans and, as we saw last week, its debut on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms has been quite successful.

Since then, PC owners have been eagerly awaiting the release of their own version of the game, which was set to happen at the end of the month, on May 29, in North America, and June 1, in Europe.

Now, Rockstar has confirmed that it’s pushing the launch of Max Payne 3 on the PC in North America a few days back, as it wants to release the game on the same day worldwide.

Due to logistical reasons, it’s not possible to release it in Europe earlier, so the decision to launch the American version later was made.

As such, PC owners from all around the world will be able to play Max Payne 3 on June 1.
