The Classic Multiplayer Character Pack for Max Payne 3 will be released in the near future for those who bought the regular edition of the game, not just for the ones who got the Special Edition.

Max Payne 3 has just appeared on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms in North America and Rockstar has confirmed that, besides the add-ons it has already revealed, it’s going to launch a special Classic Multiplayer Character Pack, which was previously exclusive just to those who got the Special Edition of the game.

The pack, in case you forgot, brings eight new characters, in the form of Vladimir “Vlad” Lem, Vincent “Vinnie” Gognitti, Jack Lupino, Alfred Woden, Mona Sax, Valerie Winterson, Nicole Horne and, last but not least, Max Payne himself, albeit in the form of an older version from the first two games.

The DLC will still be available a short time only for those who got the Special Edition, but it’s nice to hear that all of the game’s owners will get to buy it in the near future.

Max Payne 3 is out on May 18, in Europe, for PS3 and Xbox 360, and at the end of the month for PC.
