Capcom has officially announced Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, a collection of two great classic games, in the form of Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes.

Capcom partnered with Marvel many years ago and spawned an impressive fighting game franchise in the form of Marvel vs. Capcom.

Now, after last year’s Marvel vs. Capcom 3, the two companies have announced Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, which includes two classic titles: Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes.

Both games have seen extensive upgrades, from a revamped multiplayer framework, to lobbies that support eight players, a spectator mode, dynamic challenges, replay saving and, of course, high definition visuals.

The collection will be released in September and will retail for 1200 MS Points, on the Xbox 360, via Xbox Live Arcade, and $14.99/€14.99/£11.99/AUD23.95, on the PS3, via the PS Store.

Until then, check out the announcement trailer above.
