14 DAY TRIAL // Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth will be the next video game experience to star the superhero team from Marvel and will be created by Ubisoft Quebec, to be launched on the Xbox 360 home console using the Kinect motion tracking tech and on the upcoming Wii U from Nintendo.
The game will allow players to control about 20 superhero characters from the Marvel universe, including Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk and the narrative of the game will be based on the Secret Invasion comic books, not on the recent record breaking movie.
Tony Key, vice president of sales and marketing and Ubisoft, stated, “The idea that we're making a motion-control version of 'The Avengers' is a unique proposition if you compare that to superhero games of the past. This is the perfect type of game for that because these characters are very action oriented. They're always fighting and throwing things.”
