14 DAY TRIAL // Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet is no longer available on the PlayStation Network or on the Xbox Live service and it seems that a retail copy is the only way that players can now get access to the superhero based experience.
The game was designed to allow fans of the comic book universe to battle the agents of the Lethal Legion, following a narrative based on the second season of the television series that aired on the Cartoon Network.
No official reason was offered for the move from digital distribution to a disk based only version of the game.
The move might be related to the fact that Disney recently acquired Marvel comics and is looking to make sure that the games based on its universe are only offered via a number of distribution channels.
Rumors suggest that new superhero games from Disney are being created and will be launched in the coming years.
