Ivan Sulic, a senior vice president of marketing at Gazillion Entertainment, says that the recently announced Advance Packs for Marvel Heroes are not, as some fans have implied, an unwelcomed attempt to obtain more money from fans.

He explains that the offer is very generous and that players will be able to get access to some of the content as soon as 2014 starts.

He tells VG247 that, “We came up with these heavily discounted packs (Deluxe Edition is about 70% off!) that collected content we have scheduled for the coming months – the first bits of which might be released as early as this week.”

The two packages are designed to give all gamers a chance to get all the heroes and all the villains that will be offered in 2014 with one purchase.

The game has also recently received update 2.1, which adds Ghosts Rider and more battles that take place in Asgard.
