14 DAY TRIAL // The developers at Nintendo working on Mario Open Tennis have announced that they are planning to launch the Nintendo 3DS bound tennis simulation on May 25 in the United States and that they have a trailer set to show off the features of the title.
The game experience seems to be very similar to that of Mario Power Tennis that Nintendo launched on the Game Cube console.
Nintendo has not offered too much information on the new game, but the simple fact that Mario appears in it and graces the title space probably means that it will be a success on the 3DS.
Nintendo needs to keep up the string of solid launches for the new handheld after the success of titles like Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7, which have made the device a success during the crucial Christmas shopping season.
This year Nintendo also plans to launch the new Wii U home console.
