14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Nintendo working on the coming Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U announces that it will be launching a new Limited Edition of the title, which is designed to include a real-world Spiny Shell Collector's Item.
The package will be delivered to gamers on May 30, like the normal version of the racing title, and those who are interested in getting it can place a pre-order now to make sure that they get it.
Long-time fans of the series will probably welcome the chance to get a version of Mario Kart 8, which includes such an iconic item from the title’s universe.
A lot of players were expecting Nintendo to announce a special bundle that features the racing game and a Wii U home console, perhaps with some interesting personalized look.
The company still has time to announce one in the almost two months that are left until launch, and other packages could also be introduced.
Mario Kart 8 is widely seen as one of the titles that need to deliver big sales in 2014 in order to revive the fortunes of the Wii U home console, alongside Super Smash Bros., which will be delivered at a later date in 2014.
