Larry Hryb, the community manager working for Microsoft best known to gamers as Major Nelson, says that his company is introducing a major redesign for the official Xbox site in order to improve the experience for those who are owners of an Xbox One next-gen console.

In a video, the executive runs the players through some of the new features and explains that the changes are designed to make it easier to view important information, to compare Xbox One Achievements with friends and to look at clips taken from games.

Microsoft is aiming to create a unified web destination for all those who use its various pieces of hardware and will probably take future steps to integrate information from console profiles with other services that it owns.

The Xbox One has been offered since November of last year and the company has been delivering firmware update and introducing new features to it in order to make sure that it offers a wide range of entertainment and gaming experiences to players.

Recently, the device has also received a price cut to 399 dollars or Euro and the Kinect motion tracking system was eliminated from the core retail package at the request of the player community.
