14 DAY TRIAL // Paradox Interactive has just announced yet another expansion to its very popular Magicka title, this time in the form of Magicka: The Other Side of the Coin.
The original Magicka took PC gamers by storm and, despite having quite a lot of flaws and requiring dozens of patches, it quickly gained a cult following due to its tongue-in-cheek story and great cooperative-focused gameplay.
Now, after taking their little wizards through all sorts of adventures, both in the regular game and its subsequent expansions, a new add-on arrives, called The Other Side of the Coin, that lets players take on the role of their antagonists, the Necromancers, led by the evil Alucart the Vampire.
Besides offering new playable characters in the form of the Necromancers, who are also available in the PvP mode, the expansion brings a new type of environment and a challenge map, not to mention a great story filled with custom objectives, achievements and plenty different spell combinations.
Magicka: The Other Side of the Coin will be out in the second quarter of 2012 for the PC.
