The development team at EA Sports announces that its recently launched Madden NFL 15 includes a day one rooster update which is designed to make sure that the virtual experience is aligned with the realities of actual American football.

The official blog post from the studio states, “The Cleveland Browns quarterback competition is real. Newly named starting quarterback Brian Hoyer (78) fell one point in our first Madden NFL 15 roster update, but still edges out rookie sensation Johnny Manziel (77).”

EA Sports is also giving players suggestions about the kind of offensives that could be executed using Manziel, if they want to reflect the real world choices of Browns' head coach Mike Pettine.

Other significant changes for the Madden NFL 15 roster include:

- Cleveland Browns DT Ahtyba Rubin 86 +4 - Houston Texans SS D.J. Swearinger 80 +4 - Miami Dolphins HB Knowshon Moreno 84 -3 - Tennessee Titans LOLB Derrick Morgan 79 -7

The new American football simulation is offered on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and last-gen consoles, and since it was delivered earlier in the day to fans, no significant problems have been reported.

Madden NFL 15 uses an entirely new engine, and the focus of the new title is on defensive modes, with players getting more options to bring down the ball carrier and to force the quarterback to make a mistake.

There are also significant changes made to the core Connected Franchise and Ultimate Team modes, which are detailed in the Softpedia review of Madden NFL 15.
