14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Avalanche Studios and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive are introducing a new trailer for the upcoming Mad Max video game, designed to deliver the first look at the villain that gamers will have to battle in order to reach their objective.
Scrotus is the tyrant of the area and he commands a large array of combatants who will do everything they can to stop the main character from exploring the Wasteland, as shown in the Eye of the Storm footage.
Mad Max will focus on vehicular combat, although hand-to-hand sections are also included, as players are able to scavenge in order to get access to the equipment they need in order to create the ultimate combat vehicle.
The new title is designed to follow a story that's very different from the one shown in the movie with the same name.
Avalanche and Warner Bros. are saying that they want to capture the essence of the universe and to show how spectacular the Wasteland can be when seen from powerful vehicles that can destroy each other in combat sequences.
Mad Max will be launched at the start of September on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
