Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is once again at the top of the Japanese video game chart for the week that ended on April 7 and the good performance of the Nintendo published title means that the 3DS handheld from the same company is the best sold piece of hardware in the country.

The LL version of the device has managed to move 34,442 units, a slowdown when compared to the previous week, and the normal version added another 22,684, says Gematsu.

The PlayStation Vita is once more under the 20,000 mark and there are also declines for the WII U and the PS3, while the Xbox 360 is once more selling less than 1,000 units in one week.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is second in the video game chart, with sales of 49,140, while the last place on the podium is occupied this week by One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, from Namco Bandai, which has delivered 26,878 copies to players.
