14 DAY TRIAL // In a few weeks, players of the Lord of the Rings Online massively multiplayer online role-playing game will bear witness to a unique community event coming their way, an in-game concert event called WinterStock.
Organized and driven by the Lord of the Rings Online Players community, the event will be taking place from January 17 to January 20, inside the Lord of the Rings Online game, and will be held just outside of Thorin's Hall on the Landroval server, just next to the Silverdeep Mine in the east.
WinterStock will see 20 different bands heading over to Middle Earth over its 4 day span, with each band playing a one-hour set. Among the featured groups are the Hobbiton Philharmonic and the Muckin Fuddle, with the full line-up available inside the LOTRO Players WinterStock announcement.
The 4-day-long event is not a competition, and will give everyone a chance to head over and party with their favorite hobbit friends, showing once again how involved the popular MMO's community is.
