Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut will be coming to PC on October 31 and will be free to all those that have bought the game so far.

It seems that the cost of making it was quite high; therefore, there will be a price increase on release. Even so, gamers shouldn't worry too much as there will be a sale available for a couple of days giving them the chance to purchase it at the original price.

What is good about the Director's Cut is that it is compatible to your saved game from the original version. Therefore, you should keep a copy of the original Lone Survivor as to have the possibility to start out in one version and switch to the other mid-game.

The PlayStation versions have received quite a lot of good feedback, earning about 84% on Metacritic. It seems that players have really enjoyed the game on next-gen consoles.

Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut contains all the little details that weren't in the first, the developers bringing their vision with no compromises this time.
