Warner Bros. and NetherRealm have officially confirmed that the first downloadable character for Injustice: Gods Among Us is Lobo.

Also, the company has just posted a fresh gameplay video in which the new fighter goes up against Batman.

Injustice: Gods Among Us came out at the beginning of the month and delighted lots of fighting game fans by combining some impressive mechanics with various heroes and villains from the DC Comics universe.

Although its 24-fighter roster was quite impressive, Warner Bros. and NetherRealm have revealed that four more characters will be added as DLC.

The first is Lobo, a fighter who was leaked earlier this month.

The new character has now been confirmed for Injustice, and a fresh gameplay video has been released, showing a match between him and Batman.

As you can see above, Lobo is a bit slow but he's quite powerful and his impressive shotgun hits foes quite hard.

As of yet, there's no word on when Lobo will be released for Injustice.
