14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer EA Sports has announced that Liverpool player Jose Enrique has become the best celebrity FIFA 13 player at an event in the United Kingdom, beating Joe Hart from Manchester City, Phil Jones from Manchester United, Elliott Bennett from Norwich and Josh Franchesci from the band YouMeAtSix on his way to the trophy.
Gareth Arculus, a representative of EA Sports, stated at the event, “We invited 16 of the biggest FIFA fans in the UK to put an end to all the dressing-room banter and back-stage bickering and to take part in the only official tournament that proved once and for all who is the number one celebrity FIFA player.”
He added, “And it's official, Jose Enrique is the number one FIFA 13 celebrity player.”
Jose Enrique’s win will be small consolation for Liverpool, a team that failed to win at home during the current season of the Premier League.
