Video game developer Lionhead is confirming that it is currently working on an entirely new, non-Fable Xbox One based experience, although the studio is not yet willing to offer any sort of details on the title.

John Needham, the leader of the company, is telling Eurogamer that, “We're working on other different sorts of games as well that we're not talking about right now and won't be Fable-esque.”

This suggests that Lionhead has a third team that is exploring new ideas and concepts, in addition to that putting the finishing touches on the Fable Anniversary remake and those who are creating the entire new Legends multiplayer-focused title.

Lionhead is one of the main Microsoft development studios and the company has a reputation for creating games that are accessible for a wide array of players and can support the development of long-term franchises.

Official announcements might come around E3 2014.
