14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer and publisher Square Enix is getting ready for the Japanese launch of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and is celebrating the occasion by delivering a new trailer for the title that shows off the various special effects that are part of the experience.
The footage includes a quick look at the extensive cast of the Japanese role-playing game, which features plenty of fan favorites, and at the way the main character and the world of the game have been improved from a graphics standpoint.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will take place in a 30-day timespan and will task players with saving the world from an apocalyptic threat.
The game is set to be launched on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.
Launch will take place in North America on February 11, 2014 and three days later in Europe.
