14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Square Enix working on Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 has apologized for the fact that it has made available exclusive downloadable content for the game, the costume of Aerith from the seventh game in the series, without respecting a deal it had with the company that created the strategy guide for the title.
The costume was briefly offered for sale on its own in Japan and many players picked it up alongside similar DLC that allowed the use of Cloud or Yuna.
Shueisha, the creator of the strategy guide for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 is quoted by Joystiq as saying that, in the future, the Aerith costume will only be offered bundled with its own products.
The Japanese role-playing game will be launched in the West on February 11 and 14 of 2014, and Square Enix has not yet announced a policy for DLC.
