Lemmings Touch has just landed on the PlayStation Vita handheld gaming console from Sony, offering a ton of puzzles featuring the lovable little green-haired critters.

The game is the first Lemmings title designed specifically for the PlayStation Vita's unique control scheme, marking another milestone in the famous franchise's history.

The game is a challenging puzzler, offering a wealth of brain-teasing content for both newcomers as well as long-standing fans of the little Lemmings.

The main goal in Lemmings Touch is to guide as many of the little walkers as you can through the more than 100 levels, carefully avoiding hazards and obstacles in order to save the Lemmings from certain doom.

The levels offer a variety of different settings, from Ancient Egypt, the Crystal Caves and Candy Land up to the depths of Fiery Hell.

The game comes with a ton of brand-new puzzles and gameplay features and is optimized for intuitive touch and swipe controls, literally placing the little Lemmings at your fingertips.

Over the course of its many levels, the little critters will make use of their new skills by moving platforms, pressing switches, aiming cannons and trampolines, and much, much more.

There's also a twist, as not all Lemmings are worthy of saving, and if any Mischievous Lemming gets to the level exit, then it's game over, and as such, players have to devise ways in which to get rid of the spoiled, devious ones before they endanger the others.
