The development team at Almost Human working on Legend of Grimrock 2 is ready to reveal information about the skill system for the game, which has been redesigned to make sure that all choices are meaningful and increase the fun level of the gamer.

In an official blog, the studio explains the problems with the first game’s implementation of skills, which limited variety and forced gamers to focus on only a few number of abilities.

For the sequel, each new level will deliver just one skill point to spend on a much smaller list of available abilities, some of which are connected to weapons and to racial abilities.

The team explains, “The skills available to your character are based on your character’s class. Every class has its own skill tree, but some skills are also shared by multiple classes.”

To show how Legend of Grimrock 2 handles skills, the developers reveal how the human fighter will be able to tweak his abilities to get access to some powerful attacks.
