After quite a lengthy period of waiting and testing, Valve has confirmed when it’s going to release the long-awaited Cold Stream DLC pack for Left 4 Dead 2 on the PC and Mac platforms, as well as on the Xbox 360 console: July 24.

Left 4 Dead 2 impressed millions of gamers back in 2009 and, since then, Valve has been slowly providing lots of DLC both for it and for its predecessor.

The biggest of these add-ons was presented a year ago in the form of the Cold Stream campaign, which included not just a new map envisioned by the community but also remastered levels from Left 4 Dead 1.

After lots of testing, Valve has finally confirmed that the Cold Stream pack will arrive on July 24 for platforms like the PC and Mac, via Steam, but also for the Xbox 360.

Other surprises will be revealed until then, according to Valve, so expect to hear more soon enough.
