Visceral Games boss Steve Papoutsis has commented about the leaked gameplay video of Battlefield Hardline, which made its way onto the web yesterday and presented a huge amount of details about the shooter, saying that it was for an internal meeting six months ago.

Battlefield Hardline has seen some big leaks in recent months and developer Visceral Games, together with publisher Electronic Arts, confirmed yesterday that the game was in development and that it was coming this fall for an undisclosed number of platforms.

Immediately after that, a lengthy gameplay video with Battlefield Hardline appeared online, sharing a huge amount of details about the single-player and multiplayer modes, mechanics, and more.

Visceral's Steve Papoutsis has now talked about the leaked trailer via Twitter, saying that it came from an internal meeting at EA and that it's 6 months old.

He has emphasized that the whole team has been working hard on Hardline since then and that the new title will look much better when it gets the formal presentation at E3 2014 next month.

As such, fans should look forward to EA's press conference on June 9, when the publisher invites Visceral to demonstrate the new first-person shooter to the world and convince fans it has a place in the Battlefield series.
