The project is progressing slowly but steadily

The Skywind project is apparently making steady progress, and a new trailer, titled Archipelago, is showing off the team's latest work.

Skywind is a project meant to remake all the content of Morrowind using the superior engine of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The mod is being made by amazingly passionate people who want to express their love for the Elder Scrolls universe.

The work is being done by the same people behind the Morroblivion initiative and is a pretty huge affair, always looking for more enthusiasts willing to do volunteer work, in order to make sure that the project will actually get completed.

The most recent video showing off the world of Morrowind remade on the Skyrim engine offers gamers a preview of the Sheogorad region, for which the team built a ton of custom assets, in order to make it very distinct from other parts of Morrowind, from a visual point of view.

The footage comes from the latest alpha build, showing the great work being done. People willing to get involved (for pretty much anything, including voice acting) can visit the TESRenewal website.

There are currently around 100 people working on the project in their spare time, with more coming in to offer their help each day. For the time being, there is no prospective release date for the mod.
